Registration

REGISTRATION FORMS ARE NOT TO BE POSTMARKED BEFORE THE DATES STATED BELOW

Your confirmation packet will be mailed as soon as each workshop is confirmed. It will include a workshop materials/equipment list for your class and a detailed campus and building map. Rooms will be assigned at the conference check-in at McGuire Auditorium.

Commuters and Daily Visitors (those who come for the day, but do not stay on site) MUST pay an attendance fee. This entitles them to spend the day shopping, participating in workshops, spending time with friends or working on projects. It does not include any meals. Please use the Registration Form to register and order meals.

Shoppers will have to pay a $10 entrance fee. (This fee is for use of the Lake Yale facility and required insurance.) You will only be allowed to access the McGuire Main hall. Classrooms are closed to shoppers. Should you want meals while on site, you’ll need to register in advance.

Last postmark date to cancel and receive a full refund, less a $25 processing fee, is February 2, 2008. If you cancel after February 2, 2008, and wish a refund, you must submit a written request to the FTWG Board. Each request will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. The $25 processing fee will also be charged for these refunds.

Members’ Market

This year we will repeat the Members’ Market on Friday evening. Bring your handcrafted items and sell them to fellow members. You may reserve a half table (8’tables) for $5 / per space. Do your own pricing, keeping in mind that 10% of all sales go to Lake Yale. That money – cash or checks payable to Lake Yale - will be due at the end of the event before you leave the sales space. All record keeping, display props, monies and merchandise are your responsibility. Do not leave your space unattended. FTWG is not responsible for any stolen or lost money or property. Accommodations at Lake Yale Baptist Conference Center

Rooms are motel-type and air-conditioned in one and two story buildings, mostly with two beds and a bath. Handicapable rooms are available. Deluxe rooms have televisions and some have king beds. Adjoining rooms are available in all buildings. All linens are provided. Meals are cafeteria style. The cafeteria is able to handle some special needs menu requirements, so let the Conference Committee know if this is a concern of yours. A canteen with snacks and TV, provides an after hours meeting place. Cooking and smoking are not allowed in any of the rooms.

RV Hookups: Sites are available on a first-come-first-served basis. Meals are not included, but are available by ordering them on the registration form. Cooking in your RV is allowed. Showers are available at the pool house. All persons staying in RV’s MUST sign-in at the registration desk.

Stipulations of Lake Yale Baptist Conference Center

No alcoholic beverages are allowed on the grounds. No pets are allowed on the grounds. No smoking in any building. A full range of food services is available. Please do not bring or plan the preparation of consumable products without the express consent of the facility director. The McGuire Auditorium and both of its multipurpose wings are for FTWG use only.
